Head Chef – 5 Star Hotel – Morocco

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced and hands on head chef on behalf of my client: a wonderful 5* hotel situated in the heart of Marrakech, Morocco.

This is a permanent position, paying €54,000 pa.

About the right candidate:

• Capable and experienced head chef, with a background in a 5* hotel
• Proven leadership skills – you are a friendly leader, able to lead by example
• Previous experience with preparing Lebanese/Israeli cuisine
• Excellent financial knowledge and understanding of budgets and GP
• Must communicate fluently in English – French is a bonus

What you will do:

• Manage the daily kitchen operations
• Lead a team of 20 people
• Execute menus inspired by the Lebanese/Israeli cuisine, created by an external consultant
• Deal with the costs and KPIs
