Head Housekeeper, Scotland

Tiger Private are in search of a live-out Head Housekeeper for a large historic country estate, located a short drive outside of Edinburgh.

As well as day to day housekeeping duties you will be responsible for overseeing the management of the small team of loyal household staff and the day-to-day running of the household. The Head Housekeeper will report directly to the principal and will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the house to ensure the household runs smoothly and as efficiently as possible. Your duties will also include scheduling and supervising all vendors and contractors; ensuring cleanliness is kept at a high standard, whilst demonstrating a hands-on approach to the daily house maintenance, ensuring everything is working smoothly. In addition you will be involved assisting with the coordination of special events and management.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in housekeeping within a private household, 5 star hotel or luxury yachts, with a proven knowledge of high-end cleaning of furniture, fittings and fixtures. You will possess a proactive mindset, understanding the need for continuous maintenance and handling of both small and large projects on a daily basis. Strong organisational and task prioritisation skills are an absolute must to succeed in this role.

As this is a live-out position, only candidates with a valid UK driving licence and a proven right to work in the UK can be considered for this role.
