Financial Controller

A specialist manufacturing firm based in Great Yarmouth, are hiring for a Financial Controller. You will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, consolidations, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsible for the oversight of the accounting function your main responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for financial processes, systems, and controls
• Responsibility for maintaining statutory records
• Responsibility for the relationship with the Company Accountants
• Budget preparation and bank reconciliation
• All aspects of bookkeeping and the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Presentation of weekly reports as part of the management team
• Management of all accounting records and payroll
• Sales and purchase ledger management
• VAT and other returns to HMRC, Budgets and cash flow forecasts, year-end accounts

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Good understanding of PAYE and VAT
• Minimum of four years experience at Financial Controller level
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

WHAT YOU WILL GET

• £35,000 - £35,000
• 24 days annual leave
