Job Description:
- You are expected to have an existing client base where you sell based on personal relationships and ensure continued patronage from both customers and suppliers
- You must continually research the market and look for new opportunities to expand the business
- Monitor the development of the market, geopolitical events, supply and demand scenario, changes in rules and regulations, new projects etc.
- Dealing with shipping companies and other companies to ensure smooth business operations.
- In addition, we are looking for a team player with strong ambition and self-drive
- As an Oil Trader you may have to work outside of normal working hours and so a degree of flexibility is an advantage
Requirements:
You are required to have 10+ years of working experience in an Oil Trader position or similar with a large International Oil Trading Company
Excellent knowledge of the Oil & Gas commercial aspects, Terms & Conditions, Contracts, Letter of Credit, and other terms/means of payment.
Master’s Degree in field related studies
A long record of professional achievements
You must be outgoing and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Russian OR English and French OR English and Asian language
You must be able to present information to clients in a concise manner and have a good sales technique
An Oil Trader is required to negotiate rates with suppliers/clients and so you must have strong negotiation skills and a good understanding of the industry
Must be familiar with standard industry computer programs eg. Microsoft Word, Excel and etc.
