Head Chef – Private Members Club

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced, self-motivated and hands on head chef for a sophisticated private members club situated in Mayfair.

This role offers great flexibility: 45 hours/week; closed during bank holidays.

This is a permanent position, paying £65,000 pa plus 10% of salary in commission if successfully achieve targets set.

Closest tube station: Oxford Circus

The role:

• Running the kitchen according to the highest standards
• Developing recipes and dishes on a daily basis in accordance with the concept
• Dealing with the financial aspect of the business, managing stocks and KPIs
• Maintaining hygiene and safety standards
• Leading, training and motivating an established team of chefs
• Designing a different menu for lunch, dinner, and private hire

The ideal candidate is:

• Experienced in a similar setting and accustomed to achieving operational excellence
• A head chef with consolidated experience in private parties and events
• Flexible, dedicated and passionate about hospitality
• A friendly and down to earth person, who will maintain the organisational culture and will communicate in a proactive manner with the senior managers and FOH and BOH staff
• IT literate, as the role involves some admin duties
